“Shaun and his guys did a fantastic job. Our house desperately needed a new roof and repairs to the siding. Shaun took care of us the whole way. Everyone was polite always showed up when they said they would and got the work done. Great communication from everyone we interacted with and they kept us informed throughout the entire process. I Would highly recommend Deskins Siding & exteriors for anyone looking to do repairs on their home.”

“Deskins Team did a wonderful job residing and painting our exterior. We will be using them again for our interior remodel and painting in the near future. Great team and great resources for other work. Shaun also helped us get in touch with another contractor that installed a new ac unit and evap coil the same day. Awesome people and good communication, checking in almost daily to make sure we were happy with the work. Thanks again Deskins Team!”

“I've have had many contractors come to our house for different estimates for various projects. We had our windows done by one company and then had siding down by Deskins Group. The pricing was great, the quality of work excellent and the crews were nice, always smiling (usually but the heat in Houston can melt that away). Shaun and Jesse were quick to respond to concerns and even corrected some of the installation of our windows. I wished we had them do the windows as well but lesson learned. Our next project with this team will be our roof.”

“Shaun Deskins is my hero! A big chunk of my siding came off my house and he came by same day to give me an estimate and his awesome crew of Jesse and Jason came out the next day and got the job done before another rain storm came through. I was so pleased with the work that was done that I will definitely use them again for more work I have around the house.”

“Recurring customer here. I always enjoy working with Shaun on any projects for my home. Trustworthy and always considering what’s in the customer’s best interest, Shaun has consistently shown quality and integrity in the work that he and his team do. Deskins Group is my go to for remodeling and restoration.”

“It was a pleasure to work with Shaun and Jesse - we needed siding and roof repair done. The initial bid was fair and the detail of the work required was well explained. The crew did a good job and there was good communication throughout. We would use this company again for future work.”

“We worked with Shaun and his team to paint the exterior of our home. Both him and his paint crew were very professional and completed the job quickly without sacrificing quality. He recommended a high quality exterior paint and helped get us a good deal on it. I’m so glad we went with it! I definitely recommend!”

“Shaun Deskins and his team were incredible. Our siding was in terrible shape and they were able to meet with us right away, explain the process start to finish (including possible additional expenses along the way depending on how bad the damage was behind the rotted siding) and did not try to hard sell us. Shaun also took his time to assess/measure the house, take pictures, and send us a true (and very fair!) quote. His guys were out there that week, were very friendly, and the communication was the best I've ever experienced with any contractor we've had. They listened to what we wanted, explained why any changes to the plan needed to be made BEFORE any work was done, and were extremely thorough. They went above and beyond to make sure our house was done right inclusive of repairs and overall look. Shaun came out multiple times to see how the project was going, and also had his project manager Jesse overseeing anything he couldn't. We really appreciated the dedication Jesse and Shaun displayed, especially making sure that their crew slowed down while replacing the front of our home that had the most damage and character. They replaced and reinforced the bones where it was needed,”

“We recently used Deskins Roofing and Siding for a complete vinyl siding replacement (using Hardie) and exterior repainting. We chose them after getting multiple proposals. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. However, Shaun (Deskins) impressed us with his sincerity, knowledge, and our assumption of his ongoing involvement and availability while the work commenced (which proved to be correct). The work crews were knowledgeable, through, friendly, and always showed respect for our property. Our experience was wonderful!”

“Had a great experience with Deskins Siding. The crew showed up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. They were easy to work with—professional, responsive, and straightforward. Pricing was fair with no surprises. Highly recommend them if you need siding work done right.”

“Shaun came highly recommended to me and after working with him, I can understand why. He and his staff are courteous, efficient, professional, and quite skilled.( great results!) The project was completed prior to the expected time And he was reasonably priced. There is no doubt I will use his services for other projects in the future.”

“Deskins did a superb job fixing a bunch of siding issues at my house. They were professional, timely, and did excellent work at a fair price. Highly recommended. I will be using them in the future for any siding and painting jobs that I have.”

“Local contractor with a team that has been building homes for decades. We had some siding work that needed attention and Mr. Deskins was prompt to reply to my inquiry, even stopping by that very day to look things over and generate an estimate. He provided options, a great deal of detail about each, and communicated every step of the way. His team arrived on time, were very friendly and professional (one of the guys even used to work for the builder who constructed our home initially and numerous others in Coles Crossing). Lots of experience on this team! Regardless, the guys did excellent work, operated efficiently, and even fixed a damaged piece of siding on my garage that was not in our original agreement and touched up some spots where the paint had worn off. True professionals and they will be my first call in the future.”

“I used Deskins Group for home siding replacement, re-painting of my home and a rebuild of a bay window. Shaun is GREAT!! HIGHLY recommend. He is honest and friendly. His pricing is fair. The did a good job with no complaints. The work was done in a timely manner and finished around the time projected. He came back later to seal below the bay window. AND he was willing to fix a door that wasn't shutting correctly after the power washing of the home at no cost. In this city, especially after Harvey there are a lot of questionable service providers out there. We had a terrible time with the contractor we chose to help with our rebuild after Harvey. Wish we would have know about Shaun and the Deskins Group! So if you are looking for a bid on exterior siding, home painting or any internal home remodel work it's worth it to call Shaun. You will see what I mean. Good honest guy. His pastor has even hired him to work for him. I have referred him to all of my neighbors already. Thought it would be helpful to post reviews out there so others know he gets two thumbs up from us!”

“Deskins provided excellent quality service in replacing and painting the trim on my chimney. The paint was spot on. Jason is very professional, he was prompt and accommodating to my work schedule. He thoroughly explained what needed to be done and gave a fair price. I am very happy with the service received and will recommend to others.”

“Wow !!! what can I say if I could give 10 stars I would. I needed a quote for my roof replacement so I was referred to Jesse by WOM and he was so professional with a good sense of humor and treat you as family from the start. I explained how my schedule was so crazy and was only available on the weekends so he made arrangements to come to my house on the weekend and was very punctual Jesse and Shaun came out and both gave me their honest opinions. I did get other quotes, but I knew I wouldn’t get the quality work good material and the warranty Jesse offered me. They will definitely be handling all my home improvements going forward. Highly recommend them.. Will post pictures of my new roof 😊 soon. You won’t regret it contact Jesse.”

“Picking a contractor is nerve wracking – are they honest, do they do good work, will they complete the job timely - to name just a few of the worries. I am very happy with the Deskins Group. They are local and it is important to me to support local businesses. I have used them twice now – small job involving siding and bees (don’t ask) last year and a much bigger job involving adding a walk-in shower where only the ever present 1970s wet bar existed, external paint job, new windows (replacing original aluminum), new hot water heater and a couple of smaller items in a 1974 house. Shaun Deskins was knowledgeable, personable, set reasonable expectations and has a knack for hiring crews that are competent, friendly, courteous and hard workers. (He and the his crews had their work cut out for them since there seems to be no 90 degree angles in this house.) And his crew chief – Jesse – is just the best! I work from home and need to be on conference calls at various times during the day and worked with my schedule. He kept me informed when more noisy work needed to occur (like jack hammering, nail guns, cutting out the aluminum windows, etc). Dust was another item that they excelled at ke”

“Shaun has done great work for us over several years on multiple projects. From tiling to other remodeling and a patio cover installation (26x12). Everything was done to a high quality at a fair price. Recommend Always!”

“I recently had the pleasure of using the Deskins Group of some home repairs. I was looking to have my roof replaced, repaint the whole house and have some window rot and siding repairs. They weren't my lowest quote or my highest. They work they did was fantastic, everything looks great! They were quick, kept my yard clean and friendly. If you need some work done on your home, do not hesitate to call them.”

“Deskins crew Mr. Jessie, Javier and Lalo arrived on time. They were professional and courteous. The completed project exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use their services in the future.”
