Mathis Roofing
Window & Door Installer · Flower Mound, TX
About
Mathis Roofing and Construction operates as a family owned business from its Flower Mound location at 2550 Cross Timbers Rd. The outfit handles roofing work along with window installation and skylight services through its additional categories. Website details list residential roofing, commercial roofing, rain gutters, cedar patio covers, copper roofing and flashing, plus green roof options. They maintain offices in Plano and Grand Saline to cover the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex and northeast Texas, drawing on decades of contracting experience in those trades.
A single review described a roofing job that came out fine on the actual installation yet ran into problems once payment cleared. The customer needed a certificate of completion and a paid in full invoice to submit to insurance for a premium reduction but received no response to multiple follow up requests. That gap left the homeowner dealing with ongoing insurance paperwork and led to advice that future clients let the insurance company handle payment directly to force proper documentation.
The company lists free consultations on its site and states it serves the full Dallas Fort Worth region plus northeast Texas from the Plano and Grand Saline offices. Communication after work finishes drew direct criticism in the available account, with the reviewer noting repeated unanswered requests for standard paperwork. The Google profile confirms the Flower Mound address and places the business under roofing contractor with the noted window and skylight additions.
Google shows a one rating from zero reviews while the lone detailed account focuses on missing documentation and follow up after the job. The business copy repeats claims of consistent service across its listed roofing and construction tasks yet the record shows that post job steps have not always matched those statements.

What Customers Say
“Roofing job was good. BUT Certificate of Completion or paid in full invoice NOT provided as requested/customary. Unfortunately, my insurance company is requiring this documentation in order to update/revise downward my annual premium. Mathis has been non-responsive to my multiple req uests - Buyer beware. Suggest having the Ins. Co. pay the contractor. They can ensure documentation is provided. Frustrating and tainted my experience with this Co.”
