Crown Exteriors Home Improvements

Crown Exteriors Home Improvements operates out of Garland, Texas, with Randy Griffin in charge since 2001. The company handles siding installation, exterior painting, seamless gutters, wood repair, and replacement windows and doors. They cover jobs across Plano, Frisco, Allen, North Dallas, Richardson, and other DFW spots. Randy personally meets customers for estimates and oversees the crews on each project.

Homeowners call them for siding swaps that stop leaks around old windows, full house painting that includes trim and doors, gutter repairs or new installs, rotted wood fixes on eaves and fascia, and window replacements on single homes or multiple properties. One job replaced Hardie lap siding plus painted doors and pulled gutters temporarily. Another fixed a decade of window leaks with new siding sealed from the housewrap out. Crews also handled vinyl siding patches, soffit vents, 23-window projects, back door swaps, and storm damage repairs that took one to two days or just over an hour.

Randy shows up the next day for quotes or sends estimates within 48 to 72 hours, with work starting in seven to 10 days. He writes six-page breakdowns that list every step, charges no down payment, takes partial pay at the halfway mark, and collects the rest after a final walk-through. Prices stay reasonable and get adjusted downward when the job turns out smaller than first thought. Crews work on time, keep in touch daily, clean the site each day, and finish on schedule. Service runs in the Plano and North Dallas areas with crews that stay courteous and careful around the house.

The Google rating sits at 4.8. Reviewers keep noting fair pricing, clear explanations from Randy, solid results on siding and paint, and crews that leave the property neat. They mention quick responses by phone or email, consistent updates through the job, and work that holds up after rain.

“Crown Exteriors just completed the replacement and painting of new Hardie lap siding on my house. Randy was a great pleasure to work with. Not only was his estimate the lowest (even in this very pricey home repair market), but included the painting, re-staining of my front and back doors, and temporary removal of some gutters (other bidders did not include this). He spent more than two hours detailing each and every part of the job - 6 pages! That alone was worth the money. I knew exactly what I was getting. He didn't ask for any money up front ( a definite PLUS), and only asked for partial payment at the halfway point and the rest after the entire job was completed and a final walk through was done. His four man crew was fast and did high quality work. What I initially thought might take a couple of weeks took only 4 days. They cleaned up every day after working from around 7:30 am until 6:00 pm. Any minor issues were addressed immediately. I would hire Crown Exteriors again in a heartbeat.”

“Crown Exteriors offers superior services at a good price. The owner- Randy - does a good of explaining what the team will do and they execute well. I gave used them for gutter repair, exterior painting, and vinyl siding install and they did a great job on each project. Very professional; highly recommended.”

“Crown exteriors did a great job replacing my siding in an effort to fix a decade-long leaky window. They offered a very fair price, came when they said they would and worked diligently each day, and took every measure they could to seal our windows from the housewrap out, and the new siding. It looks crisp and perfect, they cleaned up well, and a few rainstorms later not a drop of water in our house!”

“Randy and his teams are great to work with. They replaced existing siding with Hardie board, painted the trim on the entire house, and installed new gutters. Randy's estimate was very reasonable and he provided clear detail of the work that was to be performed. He was professional and communicated consistently with the progress of the project until it was completed. He also provided excellent service while selecting the siding, paint and gutter colors, etc. I would absolutely recommend Crown Exteriors for any home improvement projects.”

“Found Randy thru Google search. Turns out he lives close to us. Needed some repairs to our vinyl siding. Randy came out next day and gave a quote. Turns out there was not as much work involved as he first thought so he adjusted the price appropriately. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend.”

“We have used Randy and Crown Exteriors for multiple projects between two houses over the past 20 years. They have done vinyl siding, soffit venting, a large window project (23 windows), painting, wood repair, and gutters/leaf protectors for us. They are reasonably priced and Randy comes out to meet you to discuss the project and keeps his finger on the pulse of the project throughout. He's personable and so are his crews. They clean up after themselves and we've never had a complaint about how they left our property. Always a pleasure to work with and easy to get ahold of if there are questions.”

“I've worked with Crown Exteriors twice over the last three years, both times due to storm damage in the Plano area. Randy and his team were great! I received estimates/bids within 48-72 hours of calling, and the work started within 7-10 days. My first job was a little bigger which took about 1-2 days and the other job was minor in nature that took 1-1.5 hours to complete. Randy and staff were quick to respond via e-mail or phone and they were always on time. Glad I found a reliable siding company that offers a great price and service to match!”

“Honest and excellent work done on painting our home. The job also required replacement of siding and carpentry repair that had been damaged over time, as well as replacement of our back door. Crew is courteous and takes care with work and consulted with us throughout the job. Highly recommend. Randy is great to deal with and we would use Crown again for future work. They also do work on fences, gutters, etc. Nice to have a great "go to" company for all our exterior repair needs.”

“Randy came out to check out the project and honestly his crew did a really great job on fixing up my house with the siding and painting it! Gave his recommendations on what he thought was best and I was more than satisfied. I will definitely be calling him to do the rest of my house for the siding.”

“We have worked with Crown Exteriors two times and been very pleased with the service and product. They replaced some wood siding on our house and then painted all the siding. We were so happy with the work that we decided to use them again when we needed some windows replaced. We knew they were reliable and would get the job done. They are very reasonably priced and do excellent work.”

“Just finished a project with Randy and his crews with Crown Exteriors at my daughter's house in Richardson and they did a great job! Replaced all the siding, gutters, and painted the whole house on time and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend them.”

“I had Crown Exteriors install siding, gutters, and paint on my home. The results were outstanding. Communication was always prompt and clear. Great quality for a good price. I highly recommend working with Randy and Crown Exteriors.”

“Absolutely WONDERFUL. I had met with 4 other window companies getting bid's at our home prior to meeting with Randy at Crown Exteriors. I knew within 5 minutes of our meeting that he was better than the others. He pointed out several things about our windows and trim that no one else had. He was very professional, helpful and fair. It was like talking with an old friend who had honest opinions and no salesman push. We were going to do half our windows first but then decided since the pricing was fair we would do them all. They were custom ordered for our house and came within 5 weeks. Install took a couple of days but everything was done with such care and attention to detail. I have been totally shocked at how nice these windows are. Total game changer to the look of our house and rooms. We did double pane white vinyl windows. Little did we know how much we would really love them when the February Winter Storm ran across Texas. We were sooo thankful we had made this decision. Thank you so much to Randy, Debra and our amazing install man that I am embarrassed I can't recall his name at this posting. He was fabulous!!”

“Randy is great! He replaced rotted siding and facia, painted all siding and trim, and put on new gutters. Very pleased with the communication, professionalism, and quality of work. Using him again for windows. Call Randy!”
