“Russell Glass has no interest in doing a good job, they don't care if they ruin your home - BEWARE. IF RUSSELL WOULD LIKE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM PLEASE CALL ME WITH A SOLUTION OTHER THAN CHARGING ME MORE THAN WHEN YOU FIRST DID THE WORK. YOU NEED TO DO THIS I've finally come up with enough money to replace all of the POOR QUALITY Russell Glass windows and you know what - they are about the same price as Russell Glass charged me several years ago. There is no comparison in the great quality windows I am getting from Maverick Windows, than the extremely poor quality of Russell Glass. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS REVIEW AND DO NOT USE RUSSELL GLASS. Russell Glass sold me on having their 1" IG Glass which are the big windows you see in the pictures. They are alright windows BUT Russell glass used metal framing for them that did not have a THERMOL break so when it gets 30 degrees outside I have over 130 feet of this framing that gets about 30 degrees INSIDE MY HOME. You can also see pictures showing the metal frame inside the home is 2" wide and 2" high so for every inch of this metal frame there is 4" of exposed metal. “7 YEARS LATER CALLED TO GET HELP WITH OUR LEAKING ROOF AND NO RESPOND WHAT SO EVER. EVEN SENT PICTURES OF THE PROBLEM AND NOTHING. “Peter, Eddie and the whole crew were amazing. The window installation for my whole duplex was completed in less than two days. Everything went smoothly and professionally with little interruption to my renters. The crew swept and cleaned up both days before leaving. If it were not for my beautiful new windows, I could not see any construction. All I had to do is sit in my yard, admire their work and appreciate my decision to have the upgrade done. Many years ago, Russell Glass cut a piece of bevelled glass for my cedar chest to my specifications. It is still beautiful.”

“Worst customer service I have experienced for a local company. Took several calls to even get someone out for an estimate (kept saying they would return my call and "forgot"). They scheduled an estimate visit and never showed up. Once they finally came, I had to call them to get the estimate after several days and it was apparent, the communication between the office and workers did not exist as the office lady wanted to schedule a visit for estimate versus give me the estimate which the workers said she is the one that does. Overall awful experience and the price they did end up giving me was well over the business I ended up going with who was professional and efficient and did great work.”

“Recently we had an issue with an over-sized sliding patio door that was beginning to leak moisture. Russell came out and determined that there were no easy solutions to replacing the over-sized doors as no one wanted to make and warranty them. They came up with another creative solution that used another type of frame and glass that could be made to the size. This replaced the slider and matches almost perfectly another slider of the same size separated by only a column. The solution and the craftsmanship were excellent. Their service personnel were on time, polite and cleaned up completely when they finished. Very happy with the job and would recommend the company!”

“I found the Russell Glass representative in Sun City (part of Georgetown, TX) to be dishonest and manipulative. I asked him for a quote for installing a solid cover over my patio. He gave me a "ball park" quote that was a very attractive number, so I quite looking for quotes from other companies. But when he returned to my home to provide a "final" quote, he increased the price by approximately 50% for the exact same patio cover. And his "formal quote" was a dollar amount written on his business card; no drawing, no document, etc. I decided to I couldn't work with the guy and, fortunately, found Doug Bess!”

“On of their drivers who doesn’t understand how lanes work decided it would be a cool idea to scream and cuss at me when he was obvious in the wrong. Dude clearly does not need to be on the road. By the way when you have two turning lanes and you are in the outside lane you have to stay in the outside lane or just use a blinker.”

“BEWARE OF RUSSELL GLASS! I had them install a window on Friday and one of the installers stole $400 cash envelope out of my kitchen while my husband went into the yard to help our son. I’ve used them for years and been happy but will never let them in my home again. I filed a police report but not so mad about the money as I am they were in my home and took advantage of us.
