“I drove around all morning hoping to find a place that could patch a windshield crack from spreading. After many unsuccessful attempt where businesses were not open or just pricing issues, I found Discount Glass Auto that was glowing with positive reviews and auto glass was their specialty so I was confidence in their work. I agreed to the service knowing the process of drilling a bullseye to relieve pressure, follow with resin filling. I was extremely disappointed with their work when receiving my car. I voiced my dissatisfaction to management and was told “Well, we stopped the spreading didn’t we? Our tech does 4 to 5 repairs a day so this looks right to me.” I understand the service is a quick fix and cosmetically, it won’t be perfect. But coming from a reputable business, I expected “4 or 5 repairs a day” to come with little more finesse to their work. I’ve had previous repair done along side the road and the work was more acceptable than this. 3 gnarly looking drill holes that I’ll be staring at until I can’t stand looking at it anymore.”

“I went to get my windshield checked out for a rock chip, which cause a crack in the glass, near my dashboard. The guys weren’t there to check it but the lady at the front was very informative, told me to come back so I did. I go back within an hour and the guys were just arriving from an outside job. The lady asks Mr. Christian to get check if the repair can be done and he goes outsides and gives it a quick inspection. After a couple seconds, I hear a drill sound and I see the drill on my windshield. There was no verbal consent for the repair and I was shocked the guy was already repairing. The lady noticed and approached Christian to see why there was no communication with us. I was left with a paper to sign saying not liable if the crack spreads and I stood in quite shock. They even stated there’s no warranty in their work and I had a competitor who backed up their work with a 1-year warranty. The repair looks alright, but hoping it will not spread. I do not recommend, I dislike the fact I didn’t agree to the work when I only went to check if it was repairable.”
