Texas Windows

Texas Windows handles window and door work out of Lewisville. Jon runs the company and takes on replacements for whole homes or sections of them along with custom shutters, blinds, shades, window coverings, sliders and sunshade screens. Reviewers note he meets customers at the house to walk through options and works out what fits each opening. The crew handles both new construction and older homes where old units leak or flash wrong.

Customers call for full replacements on houses with 30 or 32 windows, five or nine at a time, or just a couple that need fixing. They also request shutters across an entire new build, motorized and manual shades mixed together, and patio doors swapped for sliders. Jobs finish with windows that seal tight, cut energy use, and improve views. Jon, Aaron and Blake show up for the installs, resize pieces when needed, and point out fixes on old flashing the homeowners had not noticed.

Jon answers online requests the same day and stays reachable through the whole job. Reviewers say the team explains choices clearly, keeps the house clean, finishes on the date promised, and charges what they call a good value. Work covers North Texas and includes both window replacement and treatments on the same visit. Crews arrive prompt, stay courteous, and leave the site tidy.

The company holds a 4.9 rating across 147 reviews. People keep mentioning the same points: clear communication from the owner, neat installs, on-time completion, and solid results on both replacements and coverings. DIRT Score 4.9 from 147 reviews on Finds.

“I have used Texas Windows twice now. They replaced all my windows a few years ago and I just had shutters installed. John quickly responded to my online inquiry for the estimate and they were very communicative regarding installation. They had to resize two of the shutters which I appreciate because I really felt like they were doing the best quality work to ensure a great end result. I would definitely recommend this company!”

“Texas Windows did an amazing job! They provided the estimate and completed the job fast and with quality. The biggest part I respected was we found ourselves not agreeing on part of the deal. They made it happen and said we just want you to be completely satisfied. This showed they not only do quality work but geared for customer service and satisfaction! Recommended they replaced 5 windows for me and put in sunshade screens on 13 windows. Use them to replace your windows.”

“I will have to say what I thought was going to be a Butt Whip turned out to be a great experience. From start to finish, Jon and his team were extremely patient, transparent and attentive to all our needs. They spent the time to explain all the different options and made recommendations based off of our different views that we had throughout the house. Which turned out to be key as we got windows that really matched the view we have from our house on the lake. The whole experience turned out to be fantastic and appreciate they did.”

“You have to give Jon a call if you're needing window replacement. We had several well known companies come out and give me the 2 hour sales pitch, but Jon was mindful of my time, knew exactly what I needed, and was by far the best person to work with for our windows. I highly recommend Jon and Texas Windows for your window replacement.”

“Everyone in this company cares, I think that’s the litmus test these days for finding a good contractor. They did an excellent job on our two story house. Owner/sales/installers were all accommodating and communicated well, the job was finished when they said it would be and they even pointed out stuff along the way they fixed with a couple of the old windows leaking/flashing incorrect. We didn’t know before but the company had worked on our house before on replacing 3 bathroom windows during a remodel with another contractor. Everything is sealed tight, and windows work and look beautiful. Thanks Aaron and team, will definitely recommend.”

“From start to finish my experience with Texas Windows was great. Jon was always available if I had questions and I appreciated the personal touch Jon provided, especially being the owner. His staff was friendly, and Blake was always quick to respond. This company truly has the homeowners best interests in mind and I woukd recommend Texas Windows without reservation.”

“We had plantation shutters installed in the entire new build house four years ago. Jon was amazing. He clearly explained our options and helped us choose the style that met our aesthetic. His crew measured our windows accurately and they were very fast. The shutters arrived on time and were installed the day after we closed on our home. Now four years later the shutters work flawlessly. I’m confident that Jon would respond promptly if we ever had any issues. I highly recommend this company.”

“We shopped around for a while before choosing Jon and his team. Ultimately we went with Jon because he had a quality product for a great price. We ended up choosing a mix of motorized shades, manual shades and blinds for our whole house. Everything arrived within the time (faster than many of their competitors) Jon told us and everything was installed quickly. We enjoyed working with Texas windows on this whole home project and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to do window treatments or window replacements.”

“The owner and lead installer came out and we walked the house to determine the window replacement I wanted and what was possible. Together we worked out acceptable compromises. Texas Windows replaced 32 windows in my home and the results are excellent. On several windows we decided not to install blinds because we love the new view! And I almost forgot - the replaced our odd width patio door with an awesome sliding door - we love it!”
