“Turnaround time has been quite slow - great and friendly technician came to measure our windows, but since then haven't been impressed. The glass came in too small, which they realized after already removing a window, and then taped back up the doublesided panes until they could order the right glass and come back. This was several weeks ago and I keep finding glass pieces falling off in my yard from this second story window. I have been the one following up and still haven't gotten a great update, they have not been proactive with the communication.”

Within four hours, I received a call that the work was done. Very reasonable pricing and high quality work. Jennifer who works up front was super professional and detail oriented. Unfortunately during the replacement process my good piece broke, so I needed to bring in another one. Obviously no one is perfect, but how you handle the situation matters. Not only did they replace the 2 broken pieces, they provided a spare as a courtesy. I don’t expect perfection, but how you manage failure is truly how you measure quality. “These guys are awesome! We had an oval piece of glass that broke from our coffee table. I called around and Milstead Glass offered me a reasonable quote (about half of what I was thinking) and within a couple of days I had a new piece of glass for our table. I brought the table with me to pick up the glass and the glass was a hair to big on one side and wouldn’t fit in the table. They shaved it on one side until it fit at no extra charge. I highly recommend Milstead Glass - very friendly, professional, and high quality workmanship.”

I gave him the measurements and he immediately quoted me a very good price. I took the frame in a couple of days later. “If you need windows for a mobile home, do NOT call this place!!! Or, just call another place all together. This was a VERY unpleasant call for me. Funny thing is that they treated me this way years ago when I went into their shop next door! Incredibly RUDE women!!! Towards me, anyway. I had just forgotten... Forgetting their poor customer service completely, I just called their glass side of this business to get a price on a window today. The lady who answered was just not nice. She couldn't get past the fact that the glass I needed them to cut was for a mobile home. As soon as I told her the window was for a mobile home her tone, her attitude, and her demeanor immediately changed to... oh... a mobile home. Incomprehensible to her, it seemed. Beneath her. Like I was a bottom dweller begging for help. I tried to be polite, regardless. I told her to not get hung up on the 'mobile home' part! It's an octagon shaped window that can be installed (and is, btw) on homes everywhere! Not just mobile homes, but regular homes (seemingly in her opinion... "higher class people's" homes). It's an Octagon. I'm not even going to get into her not understanding the even dimensions of an octagon! Sh”

“First off let me say.... had anyone told me that within 10 years after buying my "new" house that the builder grade energy windows would FAIL... I would have NEVER bought the house! However,, We just had the front windows pains replaced. In all we had to have 14 windows replaced due to seal leaks. They were so bad that we could barley see out of the windows for the past few years. We had already replaced all the rear windows entirely, about 2 or so years ago with Window World windows. This time I shopped the price for the work. Window World came in higher than last time,, for some weird reason they wanted to charge $200. a window more for the white plastic window grids. So I asked Milstead to price up a quote. And am I glad I did. Milstead energy efficient windows replaced my failed basic builder grade cheapies with windows that are way thicker and way better quality with double green energy standards. These windows are beautiful! My neighbors all have told me how beautiful they are! Made my house look brand new again. “They replaced 3 windshields for me. 1 went perfectly without a hitch. The second one had been installed and the guy left glass pieces all over the ground, that was found by my then 5 year old. I called them back and they offered to come clean it up but I refused and told them to advise their guys to be more careful. The 3rd window leaked and had to be redone. They were pleasant about it and was prompt about fixing it. However I had a rock chip my windshield a week or two later and called them about repairing it. They wanted a very high amount and when I asked them if they could give me a break on the price they said no. We will not be doing business here again. I should have made them clean up the mess of glass.”

“Got a basic square patio table glass from them. Didn't care to check it out underneath the paper wrapping they provide, until I placed it at home and noticed it had and imperfection on the cut edge. Other than that they did it in a timely manner. I would still recommend them, but just examine your product before paying. I'm sure they would have done something to fix the mistake.”

I went and picked it up and put it in the vehicle. The glass instantly folded in half. They then immediately said I broke it and they would cut more while I wait if I purchased more glass. I purchased more and she didn’t even package them. Tried handing me sheets of glass with no proper packaging while I was bare handed.
