Proficient Glass and Mirror

Proficient Glass and Mirror takes on window and door glass work from their base in San Marcos. They replace foggy windows, repair broken glass and balancers, install insulated units, and build custom mirrors for homes, gyms, and offices. Kalum handles estimates and leads the crew that covers San Marcos, Austin, Buda, Kyle, New Braunfels, Wimberley, and the surrounding Central Texas spots. The team steps in for both quick fixes and bigger jobs like swapping out six French door windows or matching frosted garage panels.

Homeowners and property managers bring them in for hail-damaged windows, emergency replacements after storms, and mirror installs that previous attempts left unfinished. Kalum arrives the next day or even the same day for quotes, Jon completes installs in under an hour, and Ben keeps customers posted on progress. Jobs that other outfits stretched to two weeks get ordered and finished in three days here, with windows cut to fit and mirrors hung clean without extra mess.

They answer calls fast, often with glass ready in thirty minutes for walk-ins, and stick to fair pricing that beats competitors on both cost and timing. Crews stay on schedule, communicate clearly from first contact through final walkthrough, and handle single pane fixes or full custom mirror runs across the listed service area without pushing extra work. Folks note the crew shows up prepared, finishes on time, and leaves the site ready to use right away.

Reviewers keep coming back for the same reasons: quick response, solid follow-through, and results that hold up on rental properties and personal homes alike. The company earns steady praise for handling both small repairs and larger multi-window jobs without delays. DIRT Score 4.7 from 47 reviews on Finds.

“This is now my only go to place for glass and mirrors. Kalum showed up to do an estimate for me on time, pricing was good and window was .ordered that day. Three days later the window was ready for installation. There service specialist Jon was also on time and in less than an hour, the job was complete. The competition took way too long to get here, one never showed and the delivery was 2 weeks to get the window. Proficient Glass blew them away with time, estimate and completion of the job. This is why Kalum and Jon are on my contacts list and will remain there until the next time I need them. Thanks guys. Great follow up also.”

“I came out here from Bastrop and was in a bind for a piece of glass for an apartment windows. I called Proficient glass and spoke to Kalum. Amazed I had the glass in hand within 30 minutes of calling. I pulled up and he was walking it out to me. Didn’t have a way to secure it cause I was unprepared and brought the dogs with me.
