Diversified Construction

Diversified Construction also goes by Diverse Construction Group and operates out of Schertz near San Antonio. Dario runs the outfit and takes on demolition jobs, foundation repairs, excavating, masonry work, land clearing, concrete sidewalks, French drains, and paving patches. The Google listing lists them as a construction company with extra categories for demolition, excavating, and masonry. Customers reach them for these heavy site tasks rather than light finish work.

Reviewers describe Dario and his crew handling big demolition projects that stayed organized and finished on schedule with the site left clean. They mention foundation jobs where the team arrived ready, explained the steps ahead of time, and charged fair rates. Land clearing on acre lots got done quicker than expected, while concrete wraparound sidewalks, French drains, and driveway installs came out solid with the right equipment on hand. A few jobs involved last-minute milling help on thick asphalt patches downtown after regular hours.

The crew earns mentions for showing up on time, keeping communication steady during the work, and bringing machinery suited to the site. Service covers the San Antonio area with projects that range from residential lots to golf course clearing. Some accounts note repeated delays or excuses when it came time to pay subcontractors, and a handful describe cases where upfront payments led to incomplete foundations and no further contact.

Google shows a 4.4 rating though the listed review count sits at zero. Actual feedback repeats praise for speed on demolition and concrete plus Dario’s direct involvement, while a smaller set of comments flags nonpayment to other contractors and unfinished work after deposits.

“We used Diverse Construction Group for a large demolition project and were very pleased with the results. Dario made sure the entire process stayed organized and stress-free. The team worked efficiently, followed all safety procedures, and completed the work on time. The site was cleaned thoroughly after the demolition was finished. Excellent service from a professional company.”

“Sub contracted our company to do some work at the Hills Country Club. We completed the work. Upon invoicing Dario he had an excuse every time as to why he could not pay that week. After a few weeks he quit returning our calls. Unfortunately we will have to file a lien and sue him. This guy is a crook and screws over contractors, look at his other reviews before hiring him, or worse, working for him.”

“Called them out for some foundation work at my place, and wow, what a experience. The team showed up on time, ready to go, and they handled the whole thing like pros. Really appreciated how they explained everything before starting so I knew exactly what to expect. Fair pricing too, which is rare in this line of work. Definitely my go-to for any future projects.”

“Sub contracted my company to do land clearing at a golf course. Ran up a large invoice and disappeared. Won’t pay won’t answer calls. Do not sub for these guys because they will not pay you. Unfortunately have to lien the golf course and file a suit.”

“Working with Dario was a seamless experience. His crew was professional, and reliable. Communication was excellent throughout the project, and they went above and beyond to meet our needs. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable contractor.”

“I strongly advise against doing business with this company. My family hired Dario to construct a storage building and paid him $30,000 upfront. While he completed the foundation, he disappeared shortly afterward and stopped responding to all communication attempts. Despite multiple follow-ups—including contacting his wife, who assured us he would reach out—we never heard back. Dario demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism and competence throughout the project. Not only did he fail to complete the work outlined in the contract, but he also did not have the decency to return the funds for the incomplete work. After consulting with our insurance agent, we learned that Dario has multiple outstanding claims against him. This experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. I don’t typically leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share this to prevent others from being scammed.”

“Crew was on time and did a fantastic job clearing our 1.2 acre lot. They got it done much faster than we anticipated and we were very pleased with how it turned out. Would recommend Diverse Construction to my family and friends.”

“Dario came to my house and did measurements for the wrap around concrete/ sidewalk on my home. His crew did an excellent job. They have all the knowledge, experience, skills, and machinery they need to get the job done. Also installed a French drain. I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you and your crew for all the hard you guys put in.”

“As a contractor with 22 years in the field I can say that Diverse Construction is one of the best companies to work with in San Antonio. Honest, hard working and with excellent communication. My advice is to hire them today.”

“We used this company several times, and they don't disappoint. The company and owner pride themselves in such quality work. Always listening to all the customers' concerns. The company makes sure not only that we are satisfied but strive for excellence. Each time we use them, it's been exceptional and quality work. This company did the demo on my home and left the lot looking nice and clean, after my house was built, this company came back and did concrete patios in the back with a wrap around sidewalk and added a French drain with gravity sprinkler. So we wouldn't have trouble with water drainage. I love the fact that I can walk around whole house, no mud, no mess, and I can walk trash out so peacefully. It's definitely a game changer. I will forever use this company. Also, this company is fair pricing. Honestly, I can say I got the better bargin. The work speaks for itself. Thank you, Dario, for everything 🙏”

“Dario and his crew did an amazing job pulverizing all of surface rock and grading our property so we could improve the use of our property. I would HIGHLY recommend DCG for all of your land clearing, road building and heavy equipment operation.”

“I requested a estimate on a new driveway and the very day Dario came out and explained my options and cost . The estimate was reasonable they started and finished fast ! Dario even shared his tacos with me! Definitely would recommend and do business with again!”

“This team was amazing! We bid a job to pave a patch on a city street in downtown San Antonio. What we didn’t know was the street had been paved 4 times and was 8” thick instead of 2-3” thick. It was 750 square feet not worth hiring a milling machine for but we couldn’t get the asphalt out! We got in touch that same night with them and they came to our job with the machine at 8:00pm!!!! They took our issue seriously and helped us get it milled out. It’s rare to find another contractor willing to come help someone in their same field that got into a bind! Thank you so very much to the owner and the crew!!! We are so grateful people like you still come to help others and go above and beyond! We strongly recommend them!!!”

“I highly recommend hiring Diverse Construction Group Dario and his crew. I hired them for a demolition job and they were able to finish in two days. They are extremely professional and responsible. Definitely planning on hiring them again for other jobs.”

“I’ve been working with Dario and his team for years! They are experts in their field, very knowledgeable, efficient, punctual, great communication too! Very thank for them and all the work they have done for me! You can’t go wrong here! A++++ Contractor!!”

“This guy has a bad record ! He send the people to work and never pay the employees/ a lot of people been scammed from this guy / be careful”

“They’ve done several large projects for us, including the foundation for an addition on our home — absolutely outstanding quality of work, and great people as well. Everything is completed how I would have done it myself and it helps that they’re all genuinely great dudes. If you’re gonna spend the money, spend it with good people who are gonna do it the right way. Will absolutely continue to use them in the future.”

“Highly recommend! Exceptional buisness that goes above and beyond your expectations. I am extremely grateful for Mr. Hernandez and I love that this is a family owned company.”

“Diverse Construction Group has facilitated and executed multiple projects. Large escavation to new construction developement. No matter the scope of work, Diverse Construction Group has shown time and time again that they make it happen. The benchmark for construction companies to try and to live up to.”

“This was a challenging job, to say the very least. The help and support that I received throughout the completion of this project was amazing. I would highly recommend this team to anyone that is interested.”
