Shower Doors Plus LLC

Shower Doors Plus LLC runs shower door and glass work from Schertz, Texas. Frank handles most of the custom frameless shower door installs and repairs, along with single pane or foggy double pane window replacements and custom mirror or tabletop work. The crew covers San Antonio and spots like Stone Oak, Alamo Heights, La Cantera, South Town and Alamo Ranch. They take on both new builds during remodels and fixes to older setups.

Customers bring them jobs like repairing shower doors that pull away from the wall after years of use or replacing broken units from the 1980s. Frank and Adam measure one day and return the next with the new door in place, often finishing the whole job in under an hour. Other calls involve quick fixes that take less than thirty minutes, glass restoration on small scratches and full installs that include sketches of hardware choices. Frank listens to the details, offers safety notes and stands behind the finished work.

They answer calls and texts the same week, show up on time for appointments and call ahead to confirm arrival. Frank returns messages and keeps schedules flexible when tile work or other delays hit. Estimates stay free and they price jobs lower than some other quotes while still covering more glass in some cases. The crew cleans up every bit of mess before leaving and explains each step of the process.

Reviews give the company a 4.3 on Google from 21 ratings, with frequent notes on speed, reasonable cost and clean results but some mentions of missed return visits after initial work. DIRT Score 3.3 from N reviews on Finds.

“I haven’t been unable to get ahold of anyone from this company all week. They installed my glass shower door earlier this year and it has completely fallen off from the wall.”

“My shower door had been pulling away from the wall. I found these guys through home advisor and spoke with Frank. They agreed to come out later that day, only a few hours after we spoke. They were so professional and efficient. It took them less than 30 minutes to make the repair. They are SO reasonably priced! I will definitely be using them in the future!”

“Look no further than Shower Doors Plus! Frank and Adam arrived on time and had my beautiful new shower glass door installed in less than an hour. Both gentlemen are very kind, genuine, courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend Shower Doors Plus to anyone in need of glass work for their home improvement projects!!!”

“Frank came out and measured on Monday and now, two days later, it is installed and beautiful. All for a very reasonable price! Frank and Adam were very professional and courteous. We highly recommend Shower Doors Plus to anyone who needs any type of glass installed in their home.”

“Frank is amazing and a complete pro. Of all the subs I’ve had to deal with during my home renovation project, Frank was by far the most pleasant to work with. He showed up on time, measured and quickly gave me an estimate. He provided sketches and diagrams of the work and provided pictures of some of the hardware options I could choose from. He was ready to install the following week but unfortunately I was not—some of the tile work had to be redone and so I had to postpone the installation. I offered to pay a deposit to ease any fear he might have that I might back out but he politely refused to accept it. Frank was completely patient and flexible about the delay and never once pressured me. Two weeks later I was ready and he scheduled something with me right away. He again showed up on time and installed my shower glass quickly and professionally. He even threw in a couple of extras (cabinet glass) which was totally unexpected. I was incredibly impressed with his workmanship and so was my wife. This is saying a lot because she is even more picky than I am! I even had to remind him a few times to invoice me which is unheard of. His prices are more than fair, his workmanship is to”

“Shower Doors Plus went the extra mile. They were prompt. They called to remind me of my appointment - they even called me the morning of to say when they would arrive. Their gentlemen arrived and quickly went to work. They cleaned up every bit of mess. They explained the entire process and their work looks fantastic! You should definitely do business with them.”

“I cannot express how happy I am with this glass company! I called a different glass company and was quoted a CRAZY amount of money. My neighbor told me about this company and said to give them a call for a 2nd opinion. They came out the same week to give me an estimate and not only was it more reasonably priced, we got 90” of glass, instead of the 80” we were quoted from the previous people AND it was still WAY cheaper than the original quote. They were super fast to get the glass installed, about 2 weeks total time frame and everything went so smoothly. The owner is very hands on and knows what he is doing, plus, he’s a locally owned business which I love supporting the community. You will not be disappointed by going with this company! EDIT: the glass door was installed and I’m having a lot of problems where the door has now shifted and unable to fully close. I have left SEVERAL messages/calls and texts with no response back!! Do not hire them, their follow through suuuuucks!! Horrible customer service”

“WARNING!!!! Do not hiring this company! I hired them to install a large custom glass shower door and panels and they came out to address somethings and then never came back to finish the work!! I’ve called more than 20 times, left emails and other messages on their website. They answered once, apologized and scheduled a time and then were a no call no show! I’m now getting my lawyer involved as I have no other choice. What horrible service - no integrity at all!!”
