Michael Solar Screens

Michael Solar Screens LLC runs window work from Wylie, Texas. Michael leads the company and they handle solar screen design and installation along with window repairs for homes in the Dallas Fort Worth area. They come out to measure, build screens that match any window shape or size, and put them up to cut heat and add privacy.

Homeowners bring them in for solar screens on west facing windows that let in too much sun and raise indoor temperatures. David and Michael have completed full house jobs, single room installs, and repairs such as fixing kitchen window glass or swapping out old screens. Reviews note cooler rooms, lower energy use, and screens that improve the outside appearance without blocking views.

They answer calls or texts the same day in most cases and often send a quote after photos or a quick visit. Installs usually happen within a few days to a week, with clear talk on options like eighty or ninety percent blockage and color choices. Prices stay reasonable per customer feedback, and the crew covers spots like Plano, Sachse, Rockwall, and Rowlett while keeping homeowners updated from start to finish.

The outfit carries a five star rating across fifty Google reviews. Common points include the short turnaround from first contact to finished work, straightforward advice on screen types, and solid results on heat control inside the house.

“Michael installed our solar window screens today. The windows faced west so we needed much needed help from the sun and heat. He responded to my request same day and installed the screens two days later. Michael was very helpful with ideas, professional and did an excellent job with the installation. We are happy campers!”

“Michael Solar Screens recently did screens on our entire house. David came out quickly to take measurements and offered recommendations on colors and what % light blockage to choose for different areas of the house. They also assisted us with a kitchen window box glass repair which was done so well. The screens were installed within a week and look fantastic. We are so happy with the way the screens elevate the homes look from the outside and the energy savings we will have in the future.”

“David was great and seems like a genuinely nice person. Contacted him on a Wednesday, sent him photos of the windows, he quoted a price via the photos. He walked me through his avaliable options and answered any questions I had. Came out that same Friday and measured the windows and had them installed on the following Wednesday. Great turn around time and everything looks great!”

“I highly recommend Michael Solar Screens. These days, it can be frustrating trying to get contractors to even answer the phone or return a call. Michael answered right away and came to my house the very next morning. I explained that I wanted solar screens only on my west-facing windows. Michael went over the options, provided a proposal, and showed me photos of screens both with and without grids. He also explained the 80% and 90% solar screen options and the protection each provides. I told him I first needed HOA approval. Surprisingly, my HOA approved the screens within a week! As soon as I received approval, I called Michael and asked if he could get them installed quickly because we had friends coming to stay with us. Two days later, the screens were installed. The installation was prompt and professionally done, and the screens look great. I normally research several companies and get multiple estimates before making a decision. However, after my initial phone call and meeting with Michael, I was so comfortable with him that I didn’t even call another company. Michael was responsive, knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, he did exactly what he said he would d”
