What does the client see when I send a referral?
A referral card with the contractor's name and contact info — enough to reach out directly. You're cc'd so you know they received it.
Does sending a referral affect my relationship with the client?
It usually helps it. Leaving a client with a good next option keeps you in their good graces and makes it more likely they call you first when you're available again.
Is there commission involved for sending a referral?
The client referral card is about the client relationship, not commission. If you're looking for the contractor-to-contractor referral program that pays 20% recurring commission, that's a separate feature.
Can I send a referral for any type of client request?
Yes. You can send a referral card from a client's record or from an incoming lead you're declining. It works for capacity overflow and for jobs outside your trade.
