Work · Get Paid

Active jobs, open AR, pending bids, YTD profit. First screen every morning.

Four numbers tell a contractor where the business stands on any given morning: active jobs and what they are worth, outstanding receivables, open bids in the pipeline, and profit year to date. DIRT puts all four on the home screen so the read takes about ten seconds, and every card taps through to the detail behind it. Deeper questions go to Stats; this is the check before you leave for the site.

The problem

Your day starts with checking texts, voicemails, and your bank app. You have a rough sense of what's active, but you don't have a single place that shows you the full picture — where's the work, where's the money, what's open.

Why we built it

The home dashboard is the command center. Open DIRT and know in ten seconds: what's active, what's owed, what's in the bid pipeline, and where you stand on the year. No digging, no tabs.

How it works

  1. 1

Open DIRT. The home screen is your cockpit.

  2. 2

Active jobs count and their total value. Outstanding AR. Open bids in pipeline. YTD profit.

  3. 3

Tap any card to drill down. See the detail behind any number.

What changes for your business

Common questions

What does the DIRT home screen show?

Active job count and value, outstanding AR total, open bids in the pipeline, and YTD profit. You open the app in the morning and the full picture is there in about ten seconds — what is active, what is owed, what is pending, where the year stands. No digging through tabs.

How do I see all my active jobs at once?

The home screen cockpit shows active job count with a tap-through to the full list. Each active job on that list shows its status, client name, and current EHR so you can see at a glance what is healthy and what needs attention.

Can I see my outstanding invoices from the home screen?

Yes. Outstanding AR is a card on the home cockpit. Tap it to go directly to the AR dashboard with the full list of unpaid invoices sorted by age.

What is the first screen I should check every morning as a contractor?

In DIRT, the home screen is built to be that screen. Active jobs, outstanding money, open bids, YTD profit, and any proactive insight for the day. Ten seconds of attention tells you whether anything needs to happen today before you get to the job site.

Is there a way to see my whole business in one view?

The home cockpit is that view. It does not have everything — for deep dives, you go to Stats, or the AR dashboard, or the job list. But for a daily read on where things stand, the home screen covers active work, money in flight, and the pipeline.

How is the DIRT home screen different from a stats dashboard?

The home screen is operational — it shows what is happening right now. Stats is historical — it shows trends and totals over time. Use the home screen for your daily check; use Stats for your monthly or weekly business review.
