The problem
You're on the Henderson job screen and you tell DIRT to add a line item. Should work, right? But if the app doesn't know you're looking at that job, your command goes nowhere — or worse, lands on the wrong record.
Most voice tools are dumb about context. You end up having to explain where you are before you can say what you want.
Why we built it
DIRT's foreman always knows what page you're on. When you're viewing a job, your voice commands apply to that job. When you're on an invoice, they apply to that invoice. No preamble, no clarification needed.

Common questions
Do I have to say which job I'm on every time I give a voice command?
No. If you're on a job screen, your voice commands apply to that job automatically. DIRT knows what page you're viewing and routes your input accordingly.
What does "page-aware" mean for voice commands in DIRT?
DIRT knows which record you're currently viewing. When you're on Henderson's invoice screen, "add a line item" means add it to that invoice — not to some other record. You don't need to specify context every time.
What if I want to apply a command to a different record than the one on screen?
Navigate to that record first, then give the command. Or include the record name in your command: "On the Henderson job, add two hours labor." From the home screen, include context in the command.
Does this context awareness work across all screens in the app?
Yes. Job screens, bid screens, invoice screens, client cards — all apply context automatically. Any page you can navigate to, DIRT knows you're there and applies commands to it.
How is this different from a general voice assistant like Siri?
Siri has no idea what DIRT record you're looking at. DIRT's Talk reads your current screen state and routes commands to the right record without preamble. It's context built into the app, not a general-purpose voice layer on top.
Can I confirm what DIRT understood before the command executes?
Yes. DIRT shows you what it captured and what it's about to do before anything saves or sends. You approve or reject on screen.
