What does voicemail transcription do on the DIRT Line?
Every voicemail to your DIRT Line transcribes automatically into text. You get a notification with the transcript — no pressing play, no scrubbing through a 45-second message to find the part that matters.
How fast does the transcript arrive?
Immediately after the voicemail is left. By the time you check your phone, the text version is already there.
Can I still listen to the audio?
Yes. The original audio is stored alongside the transcript. The transcript is for speed; the audio is there if you need to verify exact wording.
How is this different from my phone's built-in visual voicemail?
Your phone's voicemail is tied to your personal number and disconnected from your work. DIRT voicemail transcription is on your business line, and every message is logged to your CRM — a voicemail from a new lead can become a pipeline entry from the same notification.
Does it tell me who left the voicemail?
If the number matches a client in your DIRT records, it shows their name. Unknown numbers show the number only.
What if a new lead leaves a voicemail?
You can create a new lead or client record directly from the voicemail notification. The context is there — name, number, what they need — and you can act on it from the same screen.
Can the AI receptionist handle the call before it hits voicemail?
