The problem
You have stats. You have trend lines. But stats don't tell you what to do. You're supposed to look at the numbers and infer the action yourself. Most of the time you look at them and go back to work.
Why we built it
The best analytics are the ones that tell you what to do, not just what is. The recommendation card reads your data — overdue invoices, declining EHR, clients with growing balances — and surfaces one concrete action you can take today.
How it works
- 1
Open the home screen. The recommendation card is pinned near the top.
- 2
It says one thing: "Invoice for Henderson is 12 days overdue. Tap to send a reminder."
- 3
Tap. Take the action. DIRT marks it handled and surfaces the next one tomorrow.
What changes for your business
Before
Stats say something's wrong. You're not sure what. Nothing changes.
After
One action, one tap. DIRT tells you what's most important to do today.
Common questions
Does DIRT tell me what to do with my business data?
Yes. The recommendation card on the home screen reads your current data — overdue invoices, declining EHR, unbilled jobs, slow-pay clients — and surfaces one concrete action you can take today. Not a report to interpret; a specific action with a one-tap shortcut.
How does DIRT decide what to recommend?
It looks at your active records for the highest-priority issue: an overdue invoice past 14 days, a job that has not been billed in a while, a client with a growing balance, or an EHR trend that has dropped. It picks one thing and tells you what to do about it.
What kind of recommendations does DIRT make?
Examples: "Invoice for Henderson is 12 days overdue — send a reminder." "You have a job with no billing in 18 days." "Martinez's balance is now $4,200 — you have a follow-up due." Each recommendation links directly to the record so you take one tap to act.
Can I dismiss a DIRT recommendation?
Yes. If the recommendation is not actionable right now, you can dismiss it. DIRT surfaces the next most important issue after that. Dismissed items do not disappear from your records — they just do not show as the top recommendation until conditions change.
Is the recommendation card on the home screen all the time?
It appears when DIRT has something actionable to surface. If everything is current — no overdue invoices, no unbilled jobs, no declining trends — the card will not force a recommendation. It only shows when there is actually something worth your attention.
How is a recommendation different from just looking at my stats?
Stats tell you what is happening. A recommendation tells you what to do about it. Most contractors look at their stats and go back to work without acting on what they see. The recommendation card removes the interpretation step and turns the insight into a single action.
